My son is on his way to Quebec to play in the soccer nationals.  I’m so excited for him, and yet sooo nervous.  He played for the U15 team and just a few weeks ago was asked to move up to the U16 and go to Nationals.  He hasn’t stopped smiling since.  But because it was such short notice, neither my husband or I could go.  Quebec is having it’s 400 year celebration, and all flights and hotels are booked.  Besides that, my husband couldn’t get leave from work so quickly.

So this morning I’m taking him to the airport to meet with his team, and off he goes!  It’s a new team for him, and although he doesn’t really know the players I know he’ll fit in and be fine.  I’m just being mommy.

I really wish I could go though.  I’m sure it’s going to be some fabulous soccer!

On a work note.  I just finished a hot, dark novella.  I really love this story so much that I’m now giving one of the secondary characters his own story.  So my goal for August is to write Brands story.  Summer’s are slow going for me, and just completing a novella is a huge accomplishment.  September, I’ll be digging in deep again.

Have a great week everyone!  For those that are interested in Soccer, I’ll keep you posted on my son’s progress.
