The weekend is here, yay, and I’m heading to the city until Sunday.  My son has his U16 provincial soccer tryouts and I have a writers meeting.  I’ll be speaking about how to pitch to editors because next month Tor editor, Heather Osborn (my editor from EC) will be coming to do a presentation. I’m so exited to see her again.  We met in the elevator in Atlanta.  We were all alone and she said, Hi Cathryn, I’m your editor, Heather Osborn!  That took me by surprise.  

Heather is so super nice, and so easy to talk to.  I know her visit is going to be great and I look forward to hearing her presentation.
