For a chance to win this fabulous book, by the fabulous Sylvia Day, just comment and tell me what you or someone you know is going to be for Halloween this year!

Day expertly crafts a potent sense of sexual chemistry between her irresistibly arrogant, sinfully sexy hero and the one woman clever enough to be his equal. With its surfeit of sensually detailed love scenes and vividly descriptive writing, Ask for It is perfect for readers who prefer their historical romances filled with plenty of sizzling passion and dangerous drama.

— John Charles, the American Library Association’s Booklist

Sensuality, a sexy-as-hell hero, action, danger, great dialogue and superb writing make Ask For It a must read and also makes it a recipient of The Road to Romance Reviewer’s Choice Award.

- Tracey West, The Road to Romance

Book Description

England, 1770. Beneath the silk and lace of London society lies a secret, elite organization of spies. Protecting the Crown from its enemies is hazardous, but for Marcus Ashford, protecting his heart from an unyielding passion is the far greater peril…

A MATTER OF DANGEROUS INTRIGUE…

As an agent to the Crown, Marcus Ashford, the Earl of Westfield, has fought numerous sword fights, been shot twice, and dodged more than any man’s fair share of cannon fire. And yet nothing excites him more than the primitive hunger his former fiance, Elizabeth, arouses. Years ago, she’d jilted him for the boyishly charming Lord Hawthorne. But now, the elegant widow is his to defend, and he will do so while tending to her other, more carnal needs, showing her the depth of a real man’s desire…

…AND UNDENIABLE PLEASURE

Dangerous secrets led to the murder of Lady Hawthorne’s husband. Secrets she now holds in a diary many would kill to obtain. But to entrust herself to the protection of the most seductive man she’s ever known? Outrageous. Unthinkable. Irresistible. For it was Marcus’s strong passions and burning desire that frightened her into abandoning him years ago…and her answering craving has never waned. Now, he means to be at her service, in every sense. And perhaps the only sensible course isn’t to resist temptation, but to surrender to it completely

Sylvia Day is the national bestselling, award-winning author of a dozen novels written across multiple sub-genres — contemporary, fantasy, historical, science fiction, romantic suspense, paranormal romance, and urban fantasy. A wife and mother of two, she is a former Russian linguist for the U.S. Army Military Intelligence.

Sylvia is a lifelong California resident who loves to travel. Her adventures have taken her to Japan, Holland, Germany, France, Mexico, Jamaica, and all over the United States. Born in Los Angeles, she grew up in Orange County (the O.C.), and later lived in Monterey, Oceanside, and the Temecula Valley. She is a Japanese-American who enjoys the many Japanese cultural events in Southern California as well as frequent family jaunts to Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Sea World. Her childhood career aspirations were few — become a dolphin trainer at Sea World or a bestselling novelist. Obviously, the dolphin trainer career took a back seat.

A year after she first sat down at the keyboard, Sylvia sold her first book to Kensington Brava and three years later–to the day–she sold her 15-17th single title books. In addition to her novels, she’s written numerous novellas and short stories for both print and electronic-original release. Called “wonderful and passionate” by WNBC.com and “wickedly entertaining” by Booklist, Sylvia’s stories are frequent recipients of Readers’ Choice and Reviewers’ Choice accolades. Her work has been translated into Russian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish. She’s been honored with both the EPPIE award and multiple finalist nods for Romance Writers of America’s prestigious RITA® Award of Excellence.

A voracious reader, Sylvia still manages to keep up with her two young children. She’s blessed with an understanding husband who is proud of her writing and doesn’t mind (too much) that her computer sees her more often than he does.

Sylvia also writes under the pseudonyms S.J. Day and Livia Dare.

Halloween is my favorite holiday, so I dress up, even if it is just to hand out candy to the trick or treaters. This year I’m dressing up as Wonder Woman.

This is kind of sad, but I don’t know anyone who will be dressing up this year. I do enjoy seeing what the neighborhood kids dress up as, it’s one of my favorite parts of Halloween.
