I’m heading to the city for the weekend for my son’s provincial soccer training.  Even though he’s the one running around a soccer field for twelve or so hours, the trip always exhausts me for some reason.  I’m going to miss my writing chapter’s Christmas gathering and I’m disappointed.  But I’ll be tied up with my son.  I’m heading out Saturday night with my sister to do some Christmas shopping and I’m really looking forward to that.  Not only is she cool and fun to hang out with (yes, we’re best friends) I’m looking forward to making a dent in my list.  Which, is actually small this year.  The kids are older and we’ve scaled way back.

I’m also looking forward to head into chapters to fondle buy some books, although I recently received a nice order in the mail.  I got Forbidden Fruit, Eden Bradley, Flat out Sexy, Erin McCarthy, Red, Jordan Summers, Speed Demon Erin Lynn for my daughter, Pet Cemetery, Stephen King for my son.  MoonGazer Marianne Mancusi, Driven Eve Kenin.

What books have you read or bought lately.   Any keepers?

I’m sorry you’re going to miss the Christmas party. :-( I’m working all day today and tomorrow at the craft fair, but managed to get Sunday off. Lots of things going on this weekend, for sure.

LOL If it makes you feel better, I ‘fondle’ books too. Right now I’m reading Broken Wing by debut author Judith James. It’s really good and not your typical historical.

    Hey Annette!
I can’t wait to get my copy of Broken Wings, it’s getting great reviews. Have fun at the party!

You will really love Flat-Out Sexy and I’m looking forward to reading Speed Demon. Really good, fun books even for adults.

Some of those books are still on my list of books to buy. As for what I’ve bought lately, it’s ALLURING TALES II and THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY (which I haven’t gotten around to reading yet).

I hope you have a good weekend!

Even down to the book – I’m reading ‘Broken Wing’, too. Have a great shopping weekend and hope to see you soon.
