So we’ve all been sick around here.  It started with me, oh, three weeks ago, then it spread to son, hubby and finally daughter.  I didn’t get any rest taking care of everyone else.  Last Monday, I was starting to feel better, not 100%, but better.  I decided it was time to get back to the gym, and get moving again.  I went to the gym Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Thursday morning I woke with a splitting headache and was coughing again.  Oh no!!  I though, oh, it will pass by tonight.  By Friday I was at emergency hooked to an IV and a mask full of ventolin.  Yeah, I was sick.  Sicker than I realized.

You know, as much as I hated spending four hours at the hospital, I must say it felt really nice to have someone take care of ME!  I came home and told the family that I was sick and off duty!  I’ve been resting since Saturday and I’m actually starting to feel a bit normal.  Still coughing, and congested, but I feel like I’m finally starting to get better.

Today I might actually go get groceries, since I haven’t gone shopping in weeks and there is NO food in the house.  Sure hubby could go, but I actually like going to the grocery store.  I live in a small town and it’s an outing for me.  LOL.  After after being in the house for 3 freakin weeks, I need to get out!

So on the work front, I finished first draft of IMPULSIVE and I’m working on a proposal that I’m crazy about.  I Just ordered the Encyclopedia of Wicca and Witchcraft for some research and it should be delivered soon.  I can’t wait to create my exciting new world.

On the personal front, we are going on our official house hunting trip on March 23rd.   I have about 15 houses to look at so far.  Hubby found one yesterday for an amazing price.  It was a renovator house but for the price we could do the work and still be in under budget.  But you know what they say, if it looks too good to be true, it usually is.  I contacted my real estate agent last night to find out it was a grow op house and was just confiscated by the government.  Uh, that scares the bejesus out of me, so we won’t be looking at that one anymore.  It was disappoint to learn that because I haven’t been excited by any houses yet.  I’ll keep you posted after we find something.  Maybe I can’t really find anything I like because I love my town, and my house and don’t want to move.

Ah, such is life.  Have a great week everyone.  On Thursday be sure to visit me at Hooked on Romance.  http://hookedonromance.blogspot.com/

  5. Sorry to hear you’ve been so sick. I hope the house hunting goes well. Should be a few more houses on the market after March Break. Starting to see “for sale” signs popping up.

And if you and the hubby are the least bit handy, finding something that needs a little cosmetic work is a great way to save money.

I’m so glad you’re getting better. I understand totally how you feel. Under the weather a bit myself these days. My two younger ones are bad sick at the moment, lol. OH well.

Your new book idea sounds great. I love all things wicca. You’ll have to let us know when it’s done!

Guess what, we’re house hunting as well. Where are you moving to? We might stay local, might move, don’t know. Depends where we find the best deal, jobs, etc, lol. So, yes, I will keep reading to find out, lol
